I have already purchased The Unzip Wizard and I need help!

Q: I purchased The Unzip Wizard quite some time ago and just today when I tried to launch it I was told that my evaluation period had expired and that I must now purchase it again.  Why?!

A: If you unlocked the program using the password that we sent to you shortly after you purchased the program, then a UNZIPWIZ.MY license file was created on your hard drive. The presence or absence of this UNZIPWIZ.MY file determines whether The Unzip Wizard runs as a registered (purchased) version, or in demo/evaluation mode.

So if you are receiving a "Your evaluation period has expired!" message and you already have purchased the software, then there are a limited number of possible explanations:

1) You never unlocked the software with the password unlock instructions that were emailed to you.  Solution: Unlock the software using the password instructions

2) You did successfully unlock the software, but your hard drive crashed, or was replaced, or you got hit by a virus that caused you to reformat your hard drive and the UNZIPWIZ.MY file was lost. Solution: Unlock the software using the password instructions.

If you purchased a backup/installation disk from us, or if you created one of your own, then you may also choose to use that disk to reinstall the software from.  Reinstalling from an installation disk will also solve the problem.
